Vinted Users Express Anger About Sizing Changes
Members of the platform have expressed outrage after an update resulted in listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The popular resale platform has updated its measurement guidelines for women's and children's clothes without notifying all users about the change.

Many shoppers and sellers are expressing on platforms saying Vinted listings now show a different size category versus the original listing due to the recalibration.
Vinted explained the new system was more in line with other platforms.
They have suggested members to check their listings and adjust the sizing manually if necessary, resulting in member annoyance.
Size Classification Modifications
Previously, the sizes had both numerical and alphabetical indicators, like S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement was formerly size 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.

One content creator, who produces content about larger sizing, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Another user, based in Glasgow, explained products she uploaded with size 14 tags were displaying on the service as larger sizing 20-22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they may become frustrated," she said.
Manual Updates
A different user, from Derby, stated she felt frustrated because the modification necessitated personal updates the measurements for "each individual item".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, as I'm chronically ill and platform income has been essential following partial earnings loss," she explained.
Service Background
The app has more than 100 million members, including 18 million in the UK.
It has become a favored option compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time that an unexpected update on the platform has faced criticism: earlier, the platform withdrew an update to its shipping options following member complaints.
